Poll Results: Larks and Ravens

At the April 2nd dance, we ran a trial of using Larks / Ravens instead of Gents / Ladies, and the polled people at the break:

We received 129 responses:

As you can see, more dancers liked Larks / Ravens than disliked it.

Twenty four dancers (19%) checked "I like the idea but prefer different terms", and fifteen (12%) wrote that they preferred lead / follow terms.  No other alternate wording term was suggested by more than one person.  Notably, no one suggested Jets / Rubies.

The people who disliked Larks / Ravens were mostly concerned that it was confusing, especially for newcomers.
